Kevin Bédard knows no innovative force stronger than hate. His hatred of his roots pushes him away from his father, a wealthy entrepreneur from a remote town. He settles in the city, where he makes his mark as the founder of a startup that promises to revolutionize grief by allowing users to converse with the dead. The journey is certainly no easy ride: Kevin discovers that success comes at a price, that human interests and business prosperity don’t always go hand in hand—and, above all, that he resembles his father more than he would care to admit.
